9. Service Description and Warranty Disclaimer

Retrotek Tech Services provides computer repair, hardware upgrades, IT support, and related technical services. We make reasonable efforts to resolve issues accurately and efficiently. However, we do not guarantee that all issues will be resolved, nor do we guarantee any specific outcome.

Service Warranties

• We warrant that our work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner
• We warrant that materials used in repairs are fit for their intended purpose
• Warranty period for parts installed: 30 days from date of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing

Warranty Limitations

Warranties do not cover:

• Damage resulting from improper use or maintenance
• Damage from external causes (power surges, accidents, etc.)
• Pre-existing damage not mentioned at time of service
• Use of non-recommended software or hardware

10. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. If payment is not received within 30 days of invoice, a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% per year) may be applied.

11. Cancellation Policy

Callback requests may be cancelled free of charge if cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a consultation fee of $25.

12. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Retrotek Tech Services be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Data Handling During Service

We take reasonable precautions to protect your data during service. However, we do not guarantee the security of data on devices in our care. We recommend that you back up important files before bringing your device to us. We are not responsible for data loss that occurs during service unless it is directly caused by our negligence.
